The Players was set up in 2005 for members who enjoy performing straight plays.
The Players have had huge success with  plays such as RebeccaSteel Magnolias and A Bunch of Amateurs as well as our regular Summer Cocktails and One Act Plays series, even performing a show penned by one of their own members; Changing Fortunes.

P&P’s resident choir The Singers was founded in 1998, originally for members of the Musicals section who wanted to sing (but not to dance!) They have since become well-renowned for their precision, close harmonies and eclectic programmes.

Under the musical direction of Jane McDouall, The Singers perform two main concerts each year; in July & December, and often join with other sections of P&P to perform at
a variety of other events throughout the year.
